QA Automation Test Lead with Medicaid/MMIS - 100% Remote

Quality Assurance Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead end-to-end testing strategy, planning, and execution for Medicaid/MMIS applications
2. Design and review test plans, test cases, test data, and test scenarios across modules (claims, eligibility, enrollment, provider)
3. Coordinate Product QA, MO, SIT, UAT, Regression, and Integration testing activities
4. Work closely with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders
5. Lead defect tracking, triage, and resolution
6. Ensure compliance with CMS guidelines, HIPAA, and state Medicaid regulations
7. Support test automation initiatives and process improvements
8. Support QA teams and ensure delivery timelines and quality standards
9. Drive test automation and process improvements
10. Provide status reporting and ensure adherence to timelines

Requirements

• 8-12 years of experience in QA/testing, with strong Medicaid/MMIS experience
• Strong knowledge of claims processing and eligibility systems
• Experience with test management tools
• Experience working on manual and automated testing methodologies
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Excellent leadership, analytical, coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with EDI transactions (X12-837, 834, etc.)
• Experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, etc.)
• Prior experience in MMIS implementations or modernization projects (Preferred)
