An employee-owned, S-Corp General Contractor is seeking a seasoned Superintendent to lead field operations across a diverse portfolio of high-value commercial and institutional construction projects throughout the region.

This client is a commercial general contractor with a strong focus on K-12 education, higher education, municipal, public safety, office, and institutional projects. Projects typically range from $20M to over $100M, delivering large-scale developments that directly serve communities and public infrastructure.

As Superintendent, you will be the primary onsite leader, responsible for the day-to-day coordination and successful delivery of assigned projects. You will lead field operations with a strong focus on safety, quality, schedule adherence, and team leadership, while maintaining excellent relationships with clients, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and actively enforce a strong site safety culture in line with OSHA standards
• Coordinate and supervise all onsite construction activities
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, inspections, and testing agencies
• Develop and maintain short-term look-ahead schedules
• Monitor project progress and implement recovery strategies when required
• Ensure compliance with contract documents, specifications, and quality standards
• Maintain accurate project documentation and daily reporting
• Lead punch list, commissioning, and project closeout activities
• Mentor and support Assistant Superintendents and field staff

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years’ experience as a Superintendent on commercial or institutional projects
• Proven track record delivering projects between $10M–$100M+
• Strong background in K-12, higher education, municipal, or public-sector construction
• Solid understanding of construction means, methods, sequencing, safety, and quality control
• Proficiency with Procore and Microsoft Office
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lead by example in a high-accountability environment
