Primary Location: United States (US) - North Carolina - Fuquay-Varina As a Supplemental Material Handler with John Deere Turf Care in Fuquay-Varina, NC, you will:

• Replenish all areas of factory including weld and assembly in a timely manner for operation needs in a production environment focused on safety, quality, and teamwork.
• Store and/or deliver material, parts, and equipment throughout the factory warehouse, trailers, and storage yard.
• Keep all necessary and required records for work performed.
• Operate power driven equipment such as forklifts and industrial trucks to move material, parts, and equipment.
• Perform maintenance on material handling equipment.
• Read and comprehend work instructions and follow established procedures.
• Assist and support other team members.
• Clean work area and perform other miscellaneous duties inherent to the job.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have at least one of the following: High School Diploma or G.E.D. National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC)
• At least 3 years of manufacturing work experience
• Forklift operation experience.
• Ability to perform manual tasks related to described job duties for duration of work shift; including but not limited to frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and performing of repetitive actions.
• Ability and willingness to work 1st and 3rd shift and potential overtime.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current experience as a contingent worker of at least 60 days in a similar role at John Deere Turf Care - demonstrating strong performance, quality, and attendance.
• At least 3 years of experience in Material Handling (including forklift operation experience).
