What You'll Do
- Create and modify mechanical drawings using AutoCAD
- Develop and update floor plans, layouts, and custom designs
- Revise existing drawings to accommodate customer specifications and engineering changes
- Collaborate with the Sales and Production teams to ensure drawings meet customer requirements and manufacturing specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Accurately read and use a tape measure to verify dimensions
- Maintain organized drawing files and documentation
- Ensure all drawings are accurate, detailed, and ready for production
- Experience using AutoCAD required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Must be able to accurately read a tape measure
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Mechanical drafting or manufacturing experience
- Experience in trailer manufacturing
- Experience in the construction industry
