Confidence in presentation-making and the ability to work independently and as a team leader are vital in this role. Taking initiative, anticipating customer needs and crafting innovative solutions are keys to success!We welcome candidates with a variety of backgrounds and experiences — if you don’t meet every qualification, this role may be filled at a level that aligns with your skills and growth potential.Responsibilities/Expectations:Demonstrates technical expertise in automation for specialty, geographic area, or operational functionApplies specialized knowledge in the efficient and effective completion of major projects while coordinating and controlling costs and resources associated with projectsPrepares and delivers presentationsMaintains a strong understanding of industry and operational requirementsInterprets and anticipates internal and external business challenges and customer needs; improves products, processes or services and identifies solutionsCollaborates with teams to ensure compliance, build improvement plans and meet training needsServes as content lead and custodian for operations and maintenance requirements, guidelines and variance requestsSupports technical security initiatives and hardware refreshesSupports approved manufacturer list for enterpriseOther duties as assignedEducation/Years of Experience:Required: High school diploma/GED and minimum eight (8) years of progressive experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industryPreferred: Bachelor's DegreeOther Requirements:Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priorityProficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skillsSophisticated knowledge in enterprise administration, maintenance, reporting and support for AssetCentre and other enterprise automation systems and softwareSolid understanding of programmable logic control, distributed control and human-machine interface systems and programming protocols for operations support#LI-KR1Hourly/Salary Guidelines:(Minimum, Midpoint, Maximum)$78,100 - $123,766 - $175,500We invest in our people in ways that actually show up in your day-to-day, not just on paper.
