TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified OR RN in Idaho Falls, Idaho, 83404!

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: OR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:30-16:30 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required RN license Certifications: BLS Must-Have: 3+ years of operating room experience Trauma experience Shift and call flexibility Description: Operating Room with 13 ORs and a staff of 25 RNs and 29 CSTs. Typically operates from Monday to Friday with scheduled shifts. 13 RNs and 13 CSTs are allocated to run up to 10 rooms during peak hours. Saturday sees an additional call team to manage surgeries from 06:30 to 15:00. The trauma team is available during off-hours for critical cases. Patient ratios average 50 hours of surgical time with variations on weekends. Common procedures include trauma surgeries, general surgeries, neuro surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries. The ideal candidate will be open, outgoing, and a team player. Excellent critical thinking skills are required for this role. Candidates should have experience in high-acuity patient care. Weekend and on-call duties are rotated evenly among team members, typically every four weeks. Efforts are made to limit work hours to promote balance within the team.
