BioLife Plasma Services is a subsidiary of Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd. This Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) role reports to the Plasma Center Manager and supports plasma center operations. Responsibilities Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, AIDS education, self‑exclusion, medical history interview, physical examination, blood testing, and reviewing serological protein electrophoresis (SPE). Manage donor adverse events in accordance with SOPs and coordinate donor transport to emergency care facilities. Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable results. Consult with the Center Physician or Medical Affairs on medical or technical issues, including donor safety and eligibility. Support HepatitisB and seasonal flu vaccination programs for employees. Manage employee incidents and determine need for further evaluation by occupational health or ER. Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support investigations related to local pandemic threats. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent, or graduate‑level recognized nursing program with state licensing requirements. Current state license or certification (Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant). Current CPR and AED certification. Fulfillment of state IV therapy requirements. Successful completion of FDA‑approved training for BioLife Medical Support Specialists. Two years of clinical or hospital experience. Compensation and Benefits Location: USA – ND – Fargo. Hourly wage range: $35.20 – $48.40 (subject to qualifications, experience, and local wage laws).
