With over $10M raised to date, they're scaling fast and looking for engineers ready to shape the user experience at the frontier of energy and finance.ResponsibilitiesLead the design, development, and deployment of backend systems and APIs using PythonArchitect scalable, secure, and high-performance infrastructure to support crypto-based energy solutionsCollaborate closely with product, frontend, and blockchain teams to define and deliver new featuresOwn technical decision-making and guide backend engineering best practices across the teamDrive code quality through code reviews, automated testing, and documentationOptimize backend systems for reliability, scalability, and performance in a fast-paced startup environmentStay current with emerging technologies in crypto, distributed systems, and backend architectureRequirementsBachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience developing backend software applications in Python, ideally within SaaS, fintech, startup, or product-driven environmentsHigh ownership, detail-orientation, and a proactive, self-directed work styleExperience with Django is preferred, also open to Flask or Fast APIExperience setting up CI/CDs and managingCloud experience with GCP or AWSExperience working with databases such as PostgresExperience building APIs and MicroservicesInterest in cryptoBonus PointsPrevious experience working at a crypto exchange or DeFi company is a plusExposure to LLM workflows, or other AI-native systems is a plusNode, TypeScript, React are a plusInterested in hearing more?
