Principal Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) (Onsite)

Job Summary Principal Engineer – Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) located in ElSegundo, CA. Onsite role requiring an active Secret U.S. government‑issued security clearance and U.S. citizenship. This position supports a development program focused on program execution, leading cross‑functional teams and ensuring technical subsystem requirements are achieved. Responsibilities Meet contractual commitments—including financial, technical, and schedule performance—of assigned program(s) within contractual boundaries and company expectations. Report business metrics (EAC, etc.) to both program and functional leadership. Provide technical execution leadership for design, development, integration, test, verification, qualification, and delivery of a system that complies with performance requirements. Communicate with Raytheon leadership and the customer community to provide program status, accomplishments, issues, and assistance needed. Contribute to developing and aligning on a common program vision and execution strategies as a member of the Program Leadership Team. Identify, manage, and mitigate risks or capture opportunities. Provide mentoring and guidance to team members. Travel domestically and internationally as necessary (approx. 20%). Qualifications – Must Have Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and at least 8 years of prior relevant experience. Experience in Program Management and/or IPT execution within the defense industry. Experience leading cross‑functional teams that include Engineering, Contracts, Finance, Procurement/Supply Chain, Manufacturing/Operations, Quality Management, and/or administrative functions. Experience with EVMS, IMP/IMS, and/or risk and opportunity management. Active, transferable Secret U.S. government‑issued clearance and U.S. citizenship. Preferred Qualifications Experience in RF or EOIR systems as a Senior Engineer, Deputy IPTL, or IPTL. Experience with defense system development process. Experience leading development and maintenance across multiple program sites. Experience with Agile Development, Agile Lifecycle Management tools (preferably Jira). Experience with Supplier Management. Experience leading Software/Firmware Engineering Teams, or Hardware Engineering Teams. Excellent communication, presentation, and proposal creation skills. EVMS and PM Level6 or higher certifications. Active or transferable Top Secret U.S. government‑issued clearance with special program access within Fire Control Radar scope. Benefits & Compensation Salary range: $118,300 – $224,900 USD.
