Wound Care Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Wound Care Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Wound Care Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our residents, promoting wound healing, and improving their overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality wound care to residents with complex wounds, including debridement, dressing changes, and other treatments as prescribed by the physician
• Conduct wound assessments and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Educate and empower residents and their families on wound care and preventive measures
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to provide comprehensive care and promote resident independence
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of wound care treatments and progress
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve wound care outcomes and resident satisfaction
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff

Requirements:

• Current RN or LPN license in the state of Illinois
• 1-2 years of experience (new graduates welcome to apply)
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of wound care principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks

Working Environment:

• Momence Meadows Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is a full-time, 24/7 healthcare facility in Momence, IL

• $2500.00 Sign on bonus per requirements
