Demand Planning Analyst

Job Description As a Demand Planning Analyst, you will be responsible for optimizing inventory levels to strike a balance between investments and fill rates in both B2B and retail environments. You will play a key role in building and establishing demand planning processes from the ground up within a start-up environment. This includes analyzing forecasting systems, addressing items with limited demand history, collaborating cross-functionally, and ensuring alignment with vendor requirements. A successful candidate must be able to: Build and implement demand planning processes in a start-up environment. Review and oversee forecasts for high-volume and new parts, continuously monitoring inventory levels to achieve customer fill rate and inventory objectives. Conduct in-depth analyses of historical trends, comparable products, parts, and sales and marketing data to apply optimal forecasting methods. Proactively enhance demand planning, inventory performance, and supply chain efficiency. Work with multiple product lines and manage replenishment, deployment, and forecasting strategies. Incorporate lead times, pricing, and supplier sourcing into decision-making processes. Collaborate closely with internal teams and both US and international vendors. Generate detailed, analytical reports for strategic insights and presentations. Ensure ERP system recommendations (Oracle NetSuite experience required) align with vendor ordering requirements. Required Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in a private company within construction, manufacturing, or construction manufacturing sectors. Proven experience working with both US and international vendors. Proficient in ERP systems, with specific experience in Oracle NetSuite. Demonstrated analytical forecasting skills with the ability to adapt and collaborate across teams. Strong problem-solving abilities and a data-driven mindset. Bachelors degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus. This is a 100% onsite role located in Commerce, TX.
