Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse is accountable for the health status and for health needs of patients based on interpretation of health data and preventative health practices in collaboration with patients and interdisciplinary healthcare team members.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of accredited School of Nursing
• Current License as RN in the State of Texas
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross Advanced Life Support Certification (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) specifically for core staff in Surgical ICU

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Previous acute care experience preferred
• Position requires fluency in English language to function in job environment appropriately

Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education, and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
