About the Position

Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Telemetry

Location: Pittsfield, MA

Start Date: 08-10-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour Night shifts, rotating days including every other weekend and holidays as needed

Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients' conditions in a dynamic Med Surg/Telemetry unit
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Interpret telemetry rhythms and respond to changes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
• Provide patient and family education for optimal outcomes
• Float to other units as needed to support the team

Knowledge & Skills

• Medical Surgical nursing
• Telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation
• Basic Dysrhythmia recognition
• Meditech Expanse
• Patient assessment and critical thinking
• Excellent communication and teamwork
• Time management in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license in hand
• Minimum 2 years of current Medical Surgical experience
• Telemetry experience required
• Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications must be current at time of submission
• Willingness to float to other units
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
• Must have own vehicle for assignment
