# Survey Technician1000 Social - Raleigh, NC 27609## OverviewPosition TypeFull Time## Description**Responsibilities:*** Perform boundary, topographic, ALTA, as-builts, easements, and subdivision surveys for public and private clients.* Operate and maintain various surveying instruments – such as GNSS receivers and robotic total stations - to measure and verify elevations, angles, and distances.* Clean, check and adjust survey instruments and equipment to ensure the accuracy of measurements.* Maintain a high standard of accuracy and productivity in all survey work.* Oversee surveying activities in the absence of the Survey Party Chief.## Qualifications**Qualifications:*** High School Diploma or equivalent is required.* A minimum of one year of survey instrument operation is required.* Valid NC Driver's license required with good driving record and ability to drive.* Practical knowledge of survey methods and procedures.* Ability to utilize or employ GPS, RTK, VRS, and robotic total station equipment.* Ability to interpret maps* Detail oriented with good communication skills* Physically able to walk rough terrain, stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform field work in various weather conditions.* Occasional regional travel (approximately 20%) including some overnight stays #J-18808-Ljbffr
