About the Position

Job Title: Radiologic Technologist Profession: Radiology Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 - 19:15 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Valid Radiologic Technologist license Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have: - Trauma Radiography experience (Trauma II) - Experience in Neuro, Ortho trauma, and General surgery - Proficiency with C-Arms (GE, OEC, Philips, O-Arm) - Comprehensive diagnostic fluoroscopy Description: On-call response time is a maximum of 30 minutes. The unit has a total of 320 beds. There are 5 staff members on day shift and 2 on night shift. The patient ratios are manageable for high volume, high acuity cases. Typical equipment includes GE EMR, Meditech HIS/RIS, McKesson PACS, and AGFA CR. High volume, high acuity comprehensive fixed and portable radiography and fluoroscopy are performed. The unit handles a high surgical volume with inpatient and outpatient populations, ranging from neonates to geriatrics. Staff may be required to work alternate shifts and/or at alternate departments as necessary to maintain services. Holidays within the term of the contract will be required. This unit provides a supportive work environment with new equipment and advanced technology available for use. Experience of current staff is extensive, which encourages a collaborative and educational atmosphere. Flexible scheduling options are available to meet staff needs.
