Radiology - Ultrasound / Sonographer

Ultrasound TechnicianThe Ultrasound Technician is a qualified professional responsible for delivering essential diagnostic services to patients, both inpatient and outpatient, under the direction of a Radiologist. This role involves performing abdominal, pelvic (gynecological & obstetrical), and transvaginal sonograms, along with small parts scanning (thyroid, breast, and scrotum). The technician will also conduct ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and aspirations in accordance with departmental protocols.ResponsibilitiesPerform a variety of ultrasound examinationsConduct ultrasound-guided procedures as neededMaintain compliance with state and federal regulationsWork collaboratively with Radiologists and healthcare teamsEnsure patient comfort and safety during proceduresScheduleThis position requires a full-time commitment with shifts scheduled from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The Ultrasound Technician must also be willing to take call as needed.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureMust be a graduate of an accredited AMA schoolRegistered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)ARDMS or RDCS certification requiredBLS certification through the American Heart AssociationExperience in Echo and OB requiredAssignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
