Transmission CAD Designer

Job Description Required: Minimum 4 years of experience in power generation and electrical utility sectors, with knowledge of electrical transmission lines . Experience working on plan and profile drawings, hardware assembly drawings, steel reinforcement drawings, and structure foundation drawings for high voltage transmission lines. Proficiency in AutoCAD or Microstation . Ability to work with raster/TIFF image files in CAD. Familiarity with structural steel and connection detail design. Knowledge of UG transmission line design and layout. Experience working within the coordinate system in CAD. Understanding of access road grading design. Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills. Must have a valid driver’s license . Familiarity with utility industry standards such as IEEE, ASME, NESC, and NEMA . Qualifications Minimum 4 years experience in power generation and electrical utility sectors, with knowledge of electrical transmission lines . Proficiency in AutoCAD or Microstation .
