(USA) Member Specialist

Position Summary Assist Sam’s Club members with service at the front end, maintain checkout and merchandise areas, resolve member issues, promote products, handle payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges, conduct safety and security work, support and train associates, and uphold company standards and ethics. Responsibilities Provide member service, verify membership cards, and determine member needs. Process purchases, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges in accordance with company policies. Maintain checkout, entrance, mid‑store, and exit areas, zone merchandise, and ensure a safe shopping environment. Conduct safety sweeps, report unsafe situations, and execute emergency response procedures. Assist with training of Member Frontline Services associates on processes, technology, and new program rollouts. Document work assignments, priorities, and communication with managers, co‑workers, and customers. Identify and report shrink, damage, or potential criminal activity to facility management. Minimum Qualifications Retail experience, including operating front‑end equipment such as a cash register. Experience working with mobile retail applications. Preferred Qualifications None listed. Compensation Hourly wage range: $17.00 to $25.00 per hour (actual rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage). Additional compensation includes premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour, depending on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply.
