OB Laborist Physician

Job Opportunity at Geisinger Wyoming ValleyJoin a great team of experienced Laborists and Nurse Midwives, co-managing with both residents and Nurse Midwives. Focus on giving inpatient care to pregnant women, managing labor and delivery on both an emergency and routine basis. Flexible 8/24-hour in-house shifts per month. Staff of surgical Physician Assistants to assist with scheduled caesarians. Geisinger Wyoming Valley, Wilkes-Barre, PA averages 2,000 deliveries per year supported by a level III NICU. Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton, PA averages 900 deliveries per year supported by a level II NICU. Competitive straight salary model plus recruitment incentives. Excellent benefits package, including Malpractice & Tail coverage. A 5% employer contribution to 401(k) plan. Relocation – two options to choose from. $4,500 for CME. Flexible schedule.About Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center (GWV): GWV has been a part of the Geisinger family since opening as the NPW Medical Center in 1981.
