Sr Strategic Manager, Mechanical

Masimo (a Danaher operating company) seeks a Senior Strategic Manager for Mechanical commodities in Irvine, California. This on-site role develops and executes commodity strategies for materials including tape, adhesive, plastic, and injection molding to optimize cost, quality, and supply continuity across a multi-million dollar spend portfolio.

Responsibilities

Lead global strategic commodity management and deliver key performance indicators including cost savings and supplier rationalization
Conduct supplier business reviews to ensure performance standards and continuous improvement goals are met
Support vendor management processes and work closely with contract manufacturers
Drive supply chain efficiencies and continuous improvements throughout product lifecycle phases

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field
8+ years strategic procurement and commodity management experience
Proven track record developing mechanical category strategies for up to $60 million spend
Deep understanding of engineering quality issues related to materials and manufacturing processes
Purchasing/ERP/Agile experience with materials shortage and inventory management expertise
Ability to travel 20-25% for supplier visits and facility audits

Compensation: $120,000-$160,000 base, plus 10% target bonus on annual salary
