Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Seeking an experienced imaging professional to provide high-quality radiology services with a focus on orthopedic procedures. This contract role offers a unique schedule designed to maximize work-life balance while supporting a busy department with essential diagnostic imaging.

Schedule/Hours:

• 3x12-hour shifts: Saturday, Sunday, Monday
• 5:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
• One call shift per month required
• Holiday rotation: work holidays that align with regular scheduled days

Qualifications:

• Current and active ARRT certification
• Valid BLS and PALS certification
• Demonstrated expertise in radiology and x-ray procedures
• Strong background in orthopedic imaging
• Detail-oriented with strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic radiology exams, with a particular emphasis on orthopedic x-rays
• Operate and maintain x-ray and radiologic equipment to ensure optimal image quality
• Document patient information, procedures, and results in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to accurately assess and meet diagnostic needs
• Adhere to safety guidelines to protect patients and staff during all imaging procedures
• Participate in a rotating holiday schedule as well as assigned call shifts
• Assist with patient positioning and education regarding imaging procedures
