If you're ready to elevate your career and make a tangible impact, we invite you to apply and embark on this incredible journey with us.Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:Conduct field investigations and analyze failures involving all types of civil-site built environments and infrastructure such as land developments, commercial/retail projects, mixed used projects, roadway and utility, and streetscape enhancementsEvaluate design/construction -related deficiencies associated with grading and drainage, stormwater management and stormwater conveyance, underground utility systems, erosion control, concrete flatwork, road design, maintenance of traffic, and hardscape systemsExperience with:Design of roads including sight distance analysis, roadside design, vehicular use areas, parking lot design, pedestrian and vehicular ingress/egress ways. Stormwater management design, hydrology, and modeling of retention/detention facilities, culverts, storm drain systems, and open channels. Knowledge of FEMA floodplains and regulations a plus. Applicability of MUTCD including maintenance of traffic and underground utility markings and protection of utilities.Preparation, permitting, and construction implementation of civil/site construction plans including NPDES permitting, sediment and erosion control design and inspections Municipal zoning and variance hearingsConduct unbiased investigations for various types of clientsResponsible for retention and development of client relationsPrepare oral and written reports in layman's terms that document causes of failure, extent of loss, and recommended remediationDeliver professional presentations, develop client relationships and promote self to client groupsSupport conclusions by appropriate expert testimony in legal proceedingsAccept and integrate constructive feedback into job performanceMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, review professional publications, establish personal networks and participate in professional societiesPosition Requirements:Bachelor 's Degree in Civil Engineering requiredMinimum of five (5) years of civil/site development experienceP.E.
