Genesis Staffing is looking for Bilingual (Spanish-English) General Laborers to join our client’s team in Katy, TX. General Laborers support the manufacturing, assembly, inspection, and packaging of containment booms used for environmental spill control applications. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Essential to be considered: Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (Saturdays as needed) 3 PM - 11:30 PM (Will train for 2-3 weeks on 1st shift 7 AM - 4 PM)
Pay Range: $16/HR

Daily Responsibilities:

• Assist in the fabrication and assembly of containment booms, including cutting, measuring, welding, and securing materials.
• Operate basic production tools such as hammers, tape measure, utility knives, drills and ( RF welding machines with training provided).
• Move raw materials and finished products within the facility using manual handling or equipment (e.g., pallet jacks,)
• Prepare materials for production runs.
• Package finished containment booms for shipment.
• Follow all OSHA and company safety guidelines.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a clean and organized work area (5S standards preferred).
• Participate in safety meetings and training.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Required: Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to stand for extended periods (8–10 hours).
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing/warehouse environment.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.

Communications: Must be able to communicate with others and take verbal, written and audio direction. Must be able to read signs, safety processes and procedures and follow detailed instructions.
