Purpose at Ashley As a Retail Sales Associate, transform store guests into loyal customers. You guide them upon entry, serving as the expert on home furnishings, inspiring enthusiasm and excitement about Ashley products, helping them discover styles that reflect their lives and design rooms they love to live in. What You’ll Do Provide world‑class service and delight guests. Maintain a professional presence at the front desk; engage guests, ensuring they are treated cordially and respectfully. Accurately process sales orders, adhering to cash handling protocols; assist customers with credit applications and financing. Resolve customer concerns independently whenever possible. Assist with store opening and closing activities, including cash reconciliation and daily checklists. Support inventory management and loss‑prevention, including bi‑annual inventory checks. Meet and exceed sales goals, aligning to KPIs and performance standards. Perform additional tasks assigned by management. What You Bring Legally authorized to work in the US. At least 18 years old. Ability to lift, tug, and pull 25 lbs. High‑school diploma or equivalent (preferred). 1 year customer service and/or sales experience (preferred). Outgoing, friendly, easy to talk to. Ability to articulate information that inspires action. Excitement for developing and sharing fresh ideas. Flexible with hours, including weekends and holidays. Motivational communication style. After training, the hourly rate remains the same and incentive eligibility begins. Incentives include bi‑weekly, monthly and quarterly written sales bonuses ranging from 0.25% to 30% of sales volume, with quarterly bonuses expected to range from $0 to $3,500 based on performance.
