Benefits 1:1 therapist-to-patient ratios where you can truly impact outcomes Full-time Monday–Friday schedule Flexible assignments and work-life balance Online training, professional growth, and ability to earn CEUs Competitive compensation PTO and Holiday Pay Medical, Dental, Vision & 401(k) Benefits Supportive and collaborative team environment As a Home Health Occupational Therapist, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do: Provide occupational therapy services to patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans and therapy goals Assist patients in improving mobility, coordination, and daily living skills Recommend adaptive equipment and home modifications to improve safety and independence Assess fall risks and educate patients and caregivers on home safety strategies Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team including RNs, PTs, SLPs, HHAs, and caregivers Document patient progress and communicate updates to the care team and physician A few must-haves for Home Health Occupational Therapists: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the State of Maine Minimum of one year of occupational therapy experience preferred, ideally in home healthcare Current CPR Certification required Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care Reliable transportation required Why Work for Interim HealthCare?
