General ManagerThe General Manager is responsible for ensuring TheKey clients receive excellent care allowing them to remain independent in their homes, as well as actively and independently working to develop new referral and client relationships. The General Manager is integral to ensuring smooth operations and client satisfaction, supporting long-term retention of cases, and building revenue and market share in their assigned location(s).Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Building expertise in every phase of TheKey operations, client management, caregiver, staffing, client acquisition, lead intake, client care management, and referral marketingResponsible for the location's financial performance, growth, and profitability.Lead a cross-functional team supporting clients and caregivers; ensuring that departments deliver quality care to clientsCreating and sustaining relationships with key partners to build brand awareness and generate new clients for TheKeyResponding to new inquiries and performing assessments with prospective clients, addressing their questions and concerns, building relationships with their families, and converting them into TheKey clientsImproving client retention by implementing strong processes and oversight, to ensure strong relationships with all clients, including regular visits and re-assessments, family & POA communications, and regular client interaction to ensure the ongoing client satisfactionOverseeing day-to-day operations in the assigned location(s).Contributing to our strategic plans, roadmaps, and goals for their assigned market, as well as additional territories that may be identified as potential developmentUnderstanding our competitors and the professionals in the local industry, helping us lead the competitive landscape, identifying potential ways for us to further build out our team by identifying high-potential talentLeading or supporting the recruitment, training, and development of new team membersProviding after-hours support for partners, prospective and current clients (including evenings and weekends)Assisting the billing team to ensure client accounts are up-to-date and communicating with families and/or financial managers as needed for collections issuesAdditional duties and responsibilities as assignedRequired Skills, Education, and Certifications:Bachelor's Degree in gerontology, health care, social work, or related profession from an accredited university desired; or equivalent experienceFive to seven years of leadership experience in health care, elder care, social work, or related industryStrong understanding of budget management and financial monitoringDemonstrated leadership skills, including goal setting, training, and mentorshipProven track record of successfully leading and motivating diverse teamsMultitasker and critical thinker with strong analytical skillsExceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including writing, speaking, and active listeningPhysical Requirements:Ability to travel to client homes and other locations approximately 25% of the timeAbility to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods of time throughout the workdayAbility to use standard office equipmentSalary - Competitive Base plus Incentive PlanBenefits for full time employeesMedical/Dental/Vision InsuranceTouchCare VirtualCareLife InsuranceHealth Savings AccountFlexible Spending Account401(k) MatchingEmployee Assistance ProgramPTO Plan for Non-Exempt EmployeesFlexible PTO Plan for Exempt EmployeesHolidays and Floating HolidaysPet InsuranceTheKey is an equal opportunity employer.
