Software Product Manager, LC/MS

Agilent seeks a Software Product Manager to direct LC/MS acquisition software, instrument-control capabilities, and software drivers. The role manages end-to-end product lifecycle, partnering across R&D, quality, marketing, and commercial teams to deliver compliant, customer-focused solutions for analytical workflows.
Responsibilities
- Own product strategy, roadmap, and prioritized backlog for LC/MS acquisition software and drivers
- Translate customer workflows, field feedback, and regulatory requirements into software specifications
- Coordinate across instrument, software, firmware, and test teams to align dependencies and release milestones
- Manage lifecycle of supported LC/MS instruments including new introductions, compatibility, upgrades, and defect prioritization
- Partner with commercial, support, and field teams on positioning, launch readiness, and customer escalations
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Analytical Sciences, Computer Science, or Engineering
- 8+ years in product management, scientific software, instrument control, or LC/MS applications
- Experience with LC/MS acquisition workflows, instrument control, and laboratory operations
- Strong software backlog management and Agile development process knowledge
- Understanding of software drivers, device communication, and cross-platform compatibility
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders and translate requirements
- Experience in cross-functional global teams with software R&D, quality, and commercial groups
Compensation: $167,328–$261,450 base annually, plus bonus, stock, and benefits eligibility
