The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor's DegreeTo meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee9+ years of experience in software development life cycles, configuration management and best agile software engineering practices9+ years of experience with DO-178C and supplements (DO-331, DO-332) and DO-3305+ years of experience as a Designated Engineering Representative (DER) or Technical Standard Order (TSO) Certification Specialist5+ years of experience working in aerospace, defense, or similar high-tech industryPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer scienceLevel 5: 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience9+ years of experience leading software development projectsCurrent Designated Engineering Representative (DER) or Technical Standard Order (TSO) Certification SpecialistExperience with concurrent software and distributed systems9+ years’ experience developing, documenting and maintaining architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systemsLeads activities to develop, document and maintain architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systemsLeads development, selection, tailoring and deployment of processes, tools and metricsExperience using common software version control tools such as GitExperience with Agile planning tool such as JIRA, TSFCodeVue Coding Challenge: To be considered for this position you will be required to complete a technical assessment as part of the selection process.
