Compensation: $95,000 – $130,000 per year (based on experience) Location: McKinney, TX. Job/Employment Type: Full Time. Project Scope: Residential and Commercial/Retail. The Opportunity You will serve as a foundational leader, establishing a state-of-the-art procurement system to track material and service costs across North Texas. This role offers the autonomy to build a first-class purchasing team while directly impacting the company’s profitability and growth. How You Will Make an Impact Evaluate material and trades suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed to ensure project excellence. Negotiate contracts with suppliers to drive timely delivery of quality products and establish clear remedies for service gaps. Mitigate price fluctuations through strategic value engineering to maintain competitively priced homes and high specifications. Monitor all materials and services for compliance with contract terms and safety regulations, implementing changes as necessary. Maintain detailed records of procurement costs, delivery timelines, and inventories to ensure complete project transparency. Develop and lead a team of purchasing agents and buyers to support the company’s expanding project portfolio. Analyze financial reports and price proposals to create high-confidence pro-formas and overall construction budgets. Required Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in construction, a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Mandatory proficiency in Hyphen Solutions Brix, QuickBooks, and MS Office. Proven experience in a leadership capacity within the construction industry. Full fluency in English is required for this role. Preferred Qualifications & Experience Bilingual skills with fluency in Spanish are considered a significant plus. Advanced experience in setting up complex tracking structures for large-scale residential builds. Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships during volatile market conditions.
