Compensation: $22.25/HR
Shift : 3rd shift (Mon - Fri)

Shift Differential: $0.50/HR

The Chemical Packager is a unionized position responsible for weighing, filling, labeling, sealing and other packaging operations as well as general warehouse duties relating to packaging materials such as unloading bottle trucks and keeping packaging materials in order.

A day in the life:

• Weighing, filling, labeling, sealing and other packaging operations for various bottle sizes.
• General warehouse duties relating to packaging materials such as unloading bottle trucks and keeping packaging materials in order.
• Transport bulk material, bottles, caps and supplies to filling location.
• Complete necessary information for recordkeeping.
• Set up scale, checks bottle size, sets up containers to be filled.
• Responsible for working safely and for producing quality products.

*Scheduled training for the role may include first shift work for a limited time.*

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

• Preferred: Work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field.
• Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Ability to read and write in English
• Candidates who are committed to working in a safe and efficient manner.
• Worker must be capable of operating powered industrial trucks; forklift operator experience is helpful.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment:

• Candidate must be comfortable working in an environment with hazardous and non-hazardous materials
• Ability to work alternately in a seated or standing position is required

Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in New Jersey is $15.97-$23.95.
