Job Summary

The primary responsibility of the Material Handler is to ensure accuracy of material used in the Extrusion process. Assist the Extrusion team where needed. This position requires a high level of experience and handling of a forklift.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

• Verify current silo mix
• Recognize differences in materials in use
• Pull accurate material and fill appropriate ratio of materials into silos
• Plan production tasks and schedules according to customer orders.
• Sort Pallets (Good / Broken / Foreign) Move to storage after full
• Sort used bags
• Check Dryer tanks – Temp, Fill levels, Flow, D.P. Readings
• Clean Dust Tanks and Socks
• Clean Tanks / Vacuum Pump areas
• Check Regrind bags
• Clean and organize various sized cardboard cores.
• Assist Extrusion Operators with machine shutdown/startup
• Assist with clean up of purge
• Assist with Roll Changes
• Assist with Screen Changes
• Adhere to company standards and production policies to meet company objectives.
• Performs other related duties, as assigned.

• Experience in a manufacturing environment

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum 3-5yrs Forklift experience

Physical Requirements: ·

• Prolonged periods of standing, bending, and walking
• Must be able to safely operator a forklift
