Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Registered Nurses in the Emergency Room provide critical patient assessment, planning, and care while demonstrating clinical leadership during their shift. They ensure the delivery of high-quality emergency healthcare services in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions rapidly and accurately to determine priority of care.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to coordinate patient treatment.
• Provide compassionate patient education and support throughout care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of clinical interventions and patient responses.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and emergency procedures.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid Illinois RN license in active status.
• Hold current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS through the American Heart Association.
• Have at least 3 years of recent emergency room experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in emergency care skills relevant to the specialty.
• Submit two supervisory reference forms with employment dates.
• Be able to work non-local hours, with a 50-mile radius restriction for applicants.
