Quality Technician

The Quality Technician will help ensure the accuracy of T.H.C.s regulatory compliance system for tracking plants and product. He or she will perform inspections, tests, and measurements, and identify and address quality issues. They also work with other team members to ensure quality standards are met throughout the production process. The position reports to the Quality Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Organize testing batches for safety and research testing.
• Coordinate scheduling testing and work with outside lab technicians to retrieve samples.
• Verify that processed goods are properly labeled as production batches prior to being sent out for testing.
• Verify that product is properly marked remediated prior to sending out for testing.
• Submit samples for testing in METRC and BC.
• Record test results into BC.
• Maintain internal testing log for flower and processed goods.
• Verify that lab technician is following all internal procedures as outlined in the third-party sampling document.
• Conduct process audits for all departments.
• Spot check finished product to make sure it fits quality standards.
• Execute other duties as assigned by supervisor.
