*Primary Care Opportunity* *Longview VA Clinic Longview, TX* The VA Clinic Located in Longview, TX, has an immediate opening for a full-time, board certified/board eligible Primary Care Physician. Longview VA Clinic is fully dedicated to providing top-quality medical care by servicing and honoring America's veterans. *Highlights of this position include:* * Competitive Starting Salary *$250,000 - $260,000 per year* * Work Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am-4:30pm. Occasional call on weekends * Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnostic work-up and clinic intervention to scheduled and unscheduled patients in the outpatient clinic setting * Works collaboratively with other health care professionals to accomplish patient, service, and medical center goals, promoting and embracing the Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) model of care * Distinguish between normal and abnormal findings to establish a diagnosis and initiate appropriate response to emergency health problems * Order and evaluate diagnostic tests as appropriate, recommend treatment and/or referral * Initiate appropriate referrals and consultations to other clinical services * Must be a U.S. Citizen.
