Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced ER Nurse to provide immediate emergency care and support in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will quickly assess patient conditions, stabilize critical cases, and work effectively within a team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions rapidly upon arrival to determine severity and prioritize care.
• Provide lifesaving interventions and stabilize patients experiencing medical emergencies.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to execute treatment plans efficiently.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and promptly.
• Follow established protocols and maintain compliance with licensure and certification standards.
• Assist with orientation and mentorship of new staff or traveling healthcare professionals.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of ER experience is required.
• Recent traveler experience is preferred.
• Current Oklahoma State License or valid compact license.
• BLS (AHA), NIHSS, ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), and TNCC certifications are preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency in emergency assessment, stabilization, and supportive care.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills necessary for high-pressure situations.
