CT Technologist - Part Time

Role Overview: Performs CT procedures to acquire diagnostic images, supporting physicians in disease diagnosis and treatment. Operates CT scanners, power injectors, and computer systems, ensuring adherence to protocols and safety guidelines. Maintains knowledge of clinical histories, anatomy, and physics to optimize image quality and minimize patient dose. Prepares, positions, and immobilizes patients, using protective shielding when necessary. Conducts various CT scans, including CTA and advanced imaging such as TAVR, EVAR, and cardiac studies. Performs CT interventional procedures. Monitors dose data, ensuring scans stay within preset safety levels. Maintains proficiency with multiple CT systems across locations. Ensures compliance with clinical guidelines, including Image Gently standards. Possesses knowledge of pharmacology and physiology to support quality imaging and patient safety. Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from a Specialty Training Program. Strong understanding of anatomy, physics, and clinical protocols.
