Associate Attorney

Job Description Job Description Multi-state Plaintiff construction defect law firm seeks associate. The ideal candidate will have 2 - 5 years of experience with a civil litigation practice. We are looking for an early career candidate to grow with the firm. Experience with construction defect claim pre-litigation, arbitration and litigation of such claims in Superior Court is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will have strong organization and communication skills and will assist with all aspects of representation of homeowners' associations in construction defect matters. The candidate will assist with discovery, disclosures, depositions, arbitration and jury trials. Strong research and writing skills are essential. The candidate will work directly with a partner in the firm’s Carlsbad office. This position will include travel (some overnight stays) throughout Southern California. A willingness to learn this practice field, a strong work ethic and a positive attitude are essential.
