We're looking for a Permit Clerk to join our team and help keep America's freight moving. What you'll do: Process trucking permit applications (standard, oversize/overweight, trip, fuel, and more) accurately and on deadline Communicate with carriers to gather details, answer questions, and provide order status updates Work with state DOT portals to submit and track permit applications Use our in-house EasyPermits platform to manage orders Catch details others miss — wrong weights or dates on a permit can mean real trouble for a driver What we're looking for: Strong customer service background — you're patient, clear, and genuinely like helping people Detail-oriented — comfortable double- and triple-checking your own work Comfortable learning new software and systems Trucking/logistics/permit experience a plus, but not required — we'll train the right person Reliable, in-office in the Columbus/Hilliard, OH area Pay: $20/hour, depending on experience Why Custom Permits: Established company, decades in the industry, tight-knit team that actually cares about getting it right for customers, full-time with room to grow #J-18808-Ljbffr Custom Permits™
