Operations / Dispatch / Sales Trainee

Location: Ghent, Kentucky (On-Site) We are seeking a highly motivated, career-minded individual to join a growing trucking operation in Ghent, Kentucky as an Operations / Dispatch / Sales Trainee. What We're Looking For Preferred Background 1-2 years of business experience strongly preferred Experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing, operations, logistics, or office-based environment is a plus Key Interpersonal & Professional Skills Enjoy interacting with and assisting others Take pride in your work and ownership of responsibilities Strong work ethic with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get the job done Excellent communication skills, whether in person, over the phone, or via email Self-driven and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment Strong problem-solving and critical‑thinking abilities Committed to follow-up and clear communication so nothing falls through the cracks Eager to learn and grow professionally Highly organized and detail-oriented Able to manage changing priorities with guidance and maintain composure under pressure Comfortable multitasking while maintaining accuracy Positive attitude and friendly, professional demeanor Initial Responsibilities Answer inbound calls from truck drivers in a professional manner and route calls appropriately Learn and master the accurate data entry of customer loads Maintain accurate records and documentation related to dispatch activities Growth Responsibilities Scheduling and dispatching truck drivers Monitoring and tracking shipments to ensure safe, on‑time delivery Communicating with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders to provide updates and resolve issues efficiently Supporting day-to-day operational and customer service functions Work Schedule Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. On‑site in Ghent, Kentucky.
