Job Title: Groundskeeper Job Description

The Groundskeeper is responsible for the general upkeep, appearance, and safety of the HOA’s common outdoor areas. This role plays a vital part in maintaining curb appeal, supporting property values, and ensuring a clean, welcoming environment for residents and visitors. The position is primarily outdoors and involves routine grounds maintenance, seasonal work, and light exterior repairs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the general upkeep and appearance of common outdoor areas.

• Ensure safety across the HOA’s outdoor spaces.

• Conduct routine grounds maintenance and seasonal work.

• Perform light exterior repairs as needed.

• Utilize hand and power tools for groundskeeping tasks.

• Assist in trash removal and general labor duties.

Essential Skills

• Experience with groundskeeping and general labor.

• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

• Ability to perform light repairs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Capability to handle general upkeep tasks.

• Flexibility to work occasional weekends, about once per quarter.

Work Environment

The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break. The role requires occasional weekend availability, roughly once per quarter. The groundskeeping team consists of 7 members, fostering a collaborative and dynamic work environment primarily outdoors.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burke, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
