Practical Nurse (Outpatient)

Duties
Complete patient intake/screening.
Document accurately in the electronic health record.
Upload documents into the electronic health record.
Medication administration.
Answer messages within the messaging pool.
Provide patient education.
Provide pre and post procedure patient care.
Prepares patients for procedures.
Sets up necessary equipment.
Assist providers with procedures shave, punch, and excision biopsies; ED-C; Mohs Micrographic surgery.
Perform nurse-led procedures (narrow band UVB therapy, PDT, wound checks, dressing changes, suture removals).
Assist providers with Laser treatments.
Ensures compliance with infection control protocols.
