Transportation Engineer

Overview Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) is seeking a Transportation Engineer to join our growing transportation practice in Bridgeport, West Virginia. Key Responsibilities: Assist with the design and preparation of transportation improvement projects for municipal, WVDOH/DOT, and private development clients. Perform engineering calculations, analyses, and technical evaluations related to roadway and transportation infrastructure projects. Support geometric design, drainage design, construction staging, and plan production activities. Prepare design quantities, cost estimates, and supporting project documentation. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including civil, survey, geotechnical, and environmental professionals. Participate in project planning, design development, and project delivery efforts while gaining exposure to all phases of transportation engineering projects. Develop technical skills in roadway design, drainage, plan production, and project delivery through hands-on project experience, mentorship, and support toward professional licensure.
