Field OperationsJob Functions And Key Responsibilities:Coordinate and oversee right of way remediationSupervise pipeline encroachmentsComplete Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR).Conduct new pipeline commissioning.Be available for call out duty and response to pipeline emergenciesProvide support for field technicians as needed (pigging, line maker maintenance etc.)Fill in or assist with field operations and maintenance on purges, drain ups and anomaly digsService Valves and other pipeline equipmentPerform valve inspections, maintenance and other DOT tasks and reportsProvide any necessary assistance to construction and inspection personnelPlan and perform all assignments in a safe manner.Attend safety meetings and work safelyOther job duties as assignedMinimum Essential Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent.Minimum 3 years of pipeline related experienceSolid verbal and written communicationPossess valid driver's license and safe driving record.Solid computer skills to include Microsoft Office Software.Self-motivated, ability to work independentlyAbility to read and understand technical documents such as Process and Instrument Diagrams, Process Flow Diagrams, and alignment sheets.Familiarity with Process Safety Management Facilities; Management of Change Process; Environmental, Health, and Safety and OSHA Guidelines and PracticesExperience with pipeline operations.Regular and reliable attendancePreferred Qualifications:Associates degree from an accredited technical schoolIntermediate computer skills (Proficiency in MS Office Suite to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)Physical Demands:Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, with the ability to respond to call outs as needed to fulfill business objective and the ability to work shifts for plant or field conditionsAbility to frequently throughout the work shift, push, pull and lift at least a minimum of 50lbs to a minimum height of 3-4 feet and maneuver equipment or parts as neededAbility to work outdoors in changing climate conditionsAble to work in close quarters: i.e., work while kneeling, squatting, sitting, climbing, and standingAbility to climb up and down ladders, stairs, and platforms at varying heightsFollow and adhere to all applicable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines (ex: eye protection, footwear, Nomex)We maintain a drug-free workplace and perform pre-employment substance abuse testingThis role is subject to drug and alcohol testing, per applicable federal regulations or as required by Targa policyEqual Employment Opportunity:Targa Resources provides equal employment opportunities based on merit, experience, and other work-related criteria and without regard to race, color, ethnicity, religion, national origin, sex, age, pregnancy, disability, veteran status, or any other status protected by applicable law.
