Title: Registered Nurse/MS/Tele
Location: Concord North NC
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift 12hr Night Shift - 36 Shift Information 7p - 7a Clinical Interviewing- Yes/No Yes
On Call, Call Back Requirements None
Weekend Rotation Every other weekend
Holiday Requirements Travelers will work 75% of holidays Floating Requirements Region 1 - Cabarrus, University City, Stanly, Lake Norman, Central Division (CMC Main Mercy LCH (peds only) -- could float to any of the facilities within region if the need arises RN – MedSurg/Telemetry | Travel Assignment

Shift Details

• 12-hour night shifts (36 hours/week)
• Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Clinical interview required
• No call or callback requirements
• Every other weekend required
• Travelers work 75% of holidays
• Floating required within the assigned region based on patient care needs and within scope of practice

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of MedSurg/Telemetry RN experience
• First-time travelers will be considered, but experienced travelers are preferred

Patient Population

• Chest pain
• Syncope
• Angina

Required Certifications

• Active RN license
• BLS
• ACLS
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Nurse-to-Patient Ratio

• 1:5

Required Skills

• Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing
• Stroke care
• Cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Tracheostomy care
• Peripheral IV insertion
• Chest tube management
• NG tube placement
• Drain and tube management (Dobhoff, PEG, Hemovac, JP drains, Flexi-Seal, Foley catheter insertion/management)
• PCA pump management
• Management of cardiac drips, heparin infusions, blood products, and IV fluids

Technology

• EMR: Epic
• IV Pumps: Alaris
• Medication Dispensing: Omnicell

Orientation

• General hospital orientation
• 2-day unit orientation

Additional Information

• Up to 6 days of requested time off may be approved (excluding holidays), subject to scheduling needs.
• Navy scrubs required.
