Title: License and Title Clerk

Location: Palos Hills

Position Summary:

We’re looking for an experienced, dependable Title Clerk to join our administrative team in Palos Hills. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a friendly, organized setting where attention to detail and teamwork matter. Responsibilities:

• Process and submit vehicle titles and registrations accurately.
• Review documents for completeness and resolve any title issues.
• Communicate with banks, customers, and the Secretary of State to ensure timely processing.
• Handle payoff requests and lien releases.
• Maintain organized and accurate records.
• Provide friendly and professional service to both customers and teammates

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience as a Title Clerk (automotive dealership experience preferred).
• MUST have OUT OF STATE registration and titling experience.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Reliable and self-motivated with a positive attitude.
• Familiarity with Vitu or CVR.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

In this role, you will be supporting the management team and providing administrative support including

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process vehicle titles and registrations accurately and efficiently.
• Verify and maintain all title documentation for compliance with state regulations.
• Assist customers with title-related inquiries and provide excellent service.
• Coordinate with the sales team to ensure timely processing of vehicle sales paperwork.
• Maintain organized records of all title transactions and related documents.
• Handle title transfers and ensure proper lien releases are completed.
• Stay updated on local and state title regulations and changes.
• Support other administrative tasks as needed to ensure smooth dealership operations.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business or automotive preferred.
• Proven experience as a title clerk or in a similar administrative role.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle title processing and state regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficient in using computer systems and software for record-keeping.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
