HOUSEKEEPER (FULL AND PART TIME)

TouchPoint is hiring for full and part-time Housekeeper positions at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville, TN. Candidates must have prior housekeeping experience and will earn a fixed pay rate of $15.81 per hour. The work schedule includes Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with rotating weekends. Duties involve light cleaning tasks such as making beds, vacuuming, and providing quality customer service. Applications are accepted online on an ongoing basis until all positions are filled.

Job Summary: Performs light cleaning duties to maintain establishments, including hotels, restaurants and hospitals, in a clean and orderly manner. Duties include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, and vacuuming. Essential duties and responsibilities include providing quality customer service, sweeping, scrubbing, mopping and polishing floors, vacuuming carpets, rugs and draperies, shampooing carpets, rugs and upholstery, dusting and polishing furniture and fittings, cleaning metal fixtures and fittings, emptying and cleaning trash containers, disposing of trash in a sanitary manner, cleaning wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers, wiping down glass surfaces, making up beds and changing linens as required, realigning furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout, responding to guest queries and requests, responding to calls for housekeeping problems, such as spills and broken glasses, and contributing to team efforts; exhibiting professionalism with customers, fellow associates and others. Performs other duties as assigned.
