The Title Examiner responsibilities include, but are not limited to, reviewing title searches and supporting documents, entering and or reviewing the data in our internal management system for accuracy, preparing and filing legal documents, as well as curing and managing title issues.
- Review of title reports completely and accurately.
- Documenting & communicating review results to client.
- Establishing an accurate chain of title, preparing and/or requesting assignments.
- Identify title issues & communicate them to the client.
- Initiate title curative actions, and follow up on title issues.
- May perform other duties as assigned to support department goals.
- May occasionally work extended hours based on operational needs.
Experience and Skills: Extremely detail oriented. Excellent communication skills. Used to working in fast-paced, high volume, team environment.
Qualifications: 2-3 Years real property title experience. Must have knowledge of county real property records, and what constitutes a valid lien. Must be able to proofread with precision and accuracy.
Work Schedule: The work week is typically Monday through Friday, with business hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Employees are required to be onsite 2-3 days per week following a 90-day training period and upon management approval.
Salary Range: The salary for this position typically ranges from $22.00 to $25.00 an hour, depending on qualifications, experience, and other factors. Please note that the final offer may differ based on the candidate's specific qualifications, skills, and experience, as well as internal equity and business needs.
