Role Description The Bank Teller is a full-time, on-site role based at Home Loan State Bank in Grand Junction, CO. This role handles daily customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing, while ensuring accuracy and compliance with bank policies and regulations. The Bank Teller provides prompt, courteous service, answers customer questions, and refers clients to appropriate banking products and services. Responsibilities also include balancing cash drawers, verifying cash counts, maintaining secure handling of funds, and assisting with resolving basic account issues. The role involves working closely with team members to support branch operations and uphold the bank’s commitment to community-focused service. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong teller operations and deposits processing skills, including familiarity with standard banking procedures and transaction workflows. Candidates should possess accurate cash handling skills, with attention to detail and the ability to balance cash drawers and reconcile transactions. Candidates should possess excellent communication and customer service skills to interact professionally with diverse customers and team members. Basic proficiency with computers and point-of-sale or banking systems is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certification in finance or banking is a plus.
