About the feature:

The External Spare Parts Sales Representative plays a key role in driving revenue growth by actively engaging with customers and prospects in the field to promote and sell automotive or industrial spare parts. This position requires building and maintaining strong customer relationships, understanding their needs, and offering customized solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. The representative will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing a sales territory, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and support. Minimum qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in spare parts, automotive, or industrial sales.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record to travel within the assigned territory.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to establish a good relationship with diverse clients.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet sales targets.

Preferred degrees:

• Experience in using CRM software and sales tracking tools.
• Knowledge of automotive or industrial parts and their applications.
• Previous experience working in a B2B sales environment.
• Proven ability to negotiate and close complex sales agreements.
• Additional certifications related to sales or the automotive industry.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients through regular in-person visits and communication.
• Identify the customer's needs and recommend the appropriate parts and solutions to effectively meet those needs.
• Manage a designated sales territory by planning routes, scheduling appointments, and prioritizing client visits to maximize sales opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, negotiate prices and terms, and close sales to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Collaborate with internal departments such as inventory, logistics, and customer service to ensure accurate order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
• Keep detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market intelligence using CRM software.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and new product developments to provide well-founded recommendations to clients.
