Senior Java DeveloperThe RoleUST is searching for an experienced Senior Java Developer with 7-10+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing scalable enterprise applications using Java technologies.What You’ll Do· Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications and Microservices.· Build scalable REST APIs and integrate with third-party services.· Develop and maintain Kafka-based messaging systems for real-time data processing.· Implement secure and high-performance applications using Spring Security and Spring Boot.· Create and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker.· Optimize database queries and improve application performance.· Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and production support activities.· Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments.· Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines.This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.What You Need· Experience Range: 7-10+ Years· 7+ years of experience in Java application development.· Strong experience with Java 8/11/17, Spring Framework, and enterprise application development.· Hands-on experience with: · Spring Boot· Spring MVC· Spring Security· Spring IOC· Spring AOP· Hibernate/JPA· Experience in designing and developing RESTful Web Services and Microservices architecture.· Strong knowledge of Kafka for real-time messaging, event-driven architecture, and stream processing.· Experience with Docker and Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline implementation and deployment automation.· Strong understanding of Microservices design patterns and distributed systems.· Experience in data analysis and data-driven solutions using SQL.· Proficiency in database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.· Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.· Hands-on experience with JIRA for sprint planning, tracking, and defect management.· Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Preferred Qualifications:· Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).· Experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift.· Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Splunk, ELK, Grafana, or Prometheus.· Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing frameworks.Location & CompensationCompensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience.
